This Fort Mill Newborn session is just a tad bit overdue in being blogged! Hudson was a such a calm and perfect subject to have a session with. We finished up his solo shots and headed down the street to get some family images with his big brother and even snuck one with grandma in there:)

LK was one of the sweetest newborn's I've ever shot! She came in asleep and slept the whole time, she must get her laid backness from her super sweet parents! Her mom, Amber, owns Bloom Boutique in Fort Mill and can do amazing things to your eyelashes:) If you are in the area go check them out!

This sweet family booked their session earlier in the year and i've been waiting for it ever since! It was once of my first sessions to be shot once spring came around. Since I'm in a new area I was so excited to try out some new (to me) locations. We shot this family photo session at a greenway outside of Charlotte in Fort Mill. It was beautiful!

This family has made it's appearance on my blog numerous times.. it helps that it's because it belongs to one of my best friends. They welcomed sweet Olivia in February and was lucky enough to be able to shoot their first family pictures as a family of 4. (I wouldn't have missed it for the world.) I'm thinking of turning their dining room into my studio when I'm in Birmingham, such gorgeous natural light!!

I can not believe this sweet boy turned one. We had a great early morning first birthday session for him, although, I feel like I was just shooting his newborn session! I've seen his family many times over the past year and can not wait until I get to see the whole extended family in May!

Sunrise Session// Now in Charlotte, NC Family Photographer

This is one my favorite sessions from 2012. I had been eyeing this random spot near our house to shoot at for months. It's right beside a railroad track and doesn't look like much but I knew from passing it in the mornings that it had to be gorgeous at sunrise. The Newell's were up for anything and that included a sunrise session! It was so worth it, the lights was gorgeous and they rocked it! Jack had a good time playing around and even let mom and dad get some awesome pictures alone. I couldn't have been more happy with the way this session turned out and hope to get to shoot here again next fall!

This family came all the way from the UK for their session.. well not only for their session but to visit some amazing friends we share:) I met this family in my old neighborhood (before we both moved away). We shared an awesome group of girlfriends and embarked on our motherhood journeys together. Claire was the one who pushed me to start taking my photography seriously and even let asked me do Chloe's newborn photos.. my first newborn session ever! I can't believe how far I've come and i'm so grateful for friends who will encourage you to do what you love before you even know how much you love it yourself!
